Full-Time
Position Overview:
Provides crisis/on call services and 24 hour, 7 days a week support to assigned foster families
Facilitates an initial meeting with the client and the referral source (as appropriate) within the required time frames
Engages and works in partnership with the client to complete the initial, comprehensive assessment, including a mental status exam, resulting diagnosis based on the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders
Develops treatment plan goals and objectives, in conjunction with the client
Provides individual and in-home family therapy as needed
Submits written and timely critical report in the event of a child or foster parent behavior or activity
Coordinates services with community partners and maintains appropriate release of information
Submits therapy dates and progress reports to the case team as requested for court
Completes paperwork and progress notes within expected time frames
Requirements:
Master's degree in social work or other-related field is required
Requires licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) at the master's level
Requires at least two years of child welfare and/or family services experience
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Must pass pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and fingerprinting
