Behavioral Health Program Manager

Full-Time

Job Duties Include:

- Creates a safe client environment by performing all required security and safety procedures
- Assists in the client's orientation of treatment goals, program rules and structure
- Submits a written incident report in the event of unusual client behavior or activity while in DCCCA's care
- Supervises staff and provides both group and individual case review to assure the integrity of both service delivery and reporting
- Chairs case reviews and is responsible for the implementation of clinical decisions
- Performs clinical assessments
- Reviews, approves and compiles clinical documentation of services provided to meet contractual agreements
- Provides clinical assessments and treatment services as requested
- Travels occasionally for meetings and other activities outside the facility
- Coordinates service delivery with internal and external partners to ensure a comprehensive treatment experience
- Represents DCCCA and the program with the community and service partners
- Participates in continuous quality enhancement activities
- Supervises student interns

Requirements Include:

- Requires a master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling or other closely related field
- Requires a minimum of three years related clinical and / or supervisory experience in providing substance abuse treatment
- Requires a detailed understanding of the treatment model utilized and addiction counselor core competencies
- Requires previous supervisory experience
- Requires licensure as a Licensed Masters' Addiction Counselor through the State of Kansas; LCAC preferred
- A BSRB license at the clinical level; i.e. LSCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LCPC is preferred
- Requires compliance with the Board's ethical practice and continuing education requirements
- Requires CPR, AIDS in-service hours and annual TB testing with a negative test result (residential programs only)

- Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position
