Full-Time
Position Overview:
- Provides direct supervision to assigned staff individually and as a group once a month
- Provides leadership and support to staff in achieving CPA requirements for recruitment and retention of foster families
- Works with staff to notify applicants of their approval or denial for foster family home status
- Approves monthly reports, timesheets and expense reports for staff
- Addresses foster family issues via home visits or telephone calls as appropriate
- Reviews case logs regularly to ensure compliance with CPA and DCF requirements
- Monitors CPA referrals and placements
- Submits written and timely critical report in the event of a child or foster parent behavior or activity
- Coordinates services with community partners and maintains appropriate release of information
Requirements:
- Master's degree in social work or other-related field is required
- Requires licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) at the master's level
- Requires at least two years of child welfare and/or family services experience
- Previous supervisory experience is required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background checks, drug screening, reference checks and fingerprinting
