Child Placing Agency (CPA) staff work with foster parents to assist in providing the best possible services for children and families. Under supervision of the Child Placing Agency Director, the CPA Coordinator oversees the CPA Placement Supervisor and Training and Licensing Supervisor, cultivates relationships with Case Management Providers and the Department for Children and Families, and any other communication needs for the CPA. The CPA Coordinator will work closely with DCCCA’s CPA Operations Coordinator, CPA Clinical Coordinator, and CPA Advisor. The Coordinator will also monitor compliance with program specifications, DCF and COA regulations, and adherence to the agency’s mission and values.

Substance abuse treatment services include non-medical detoxification, short term intensive and extended stay residential programs, intensive outpatient modalities, outpatient counseling and primary healthcare collaboration. Outpatient counseling for both substance use and mental health needs are facilitated via tele-health technology or in office sessions. Family First Prevention Services (FFPSA) is a family-centered, collaborative intervention for families with child protective services’ involvement and children 0-5 years of age, who are impacted by parental substance use. START is a voluntary program where families work with a case manager and family mentor to help parents achieve recovery and keep children in their home when safe and possible. The FFPSA Case Manager works with families where parental substance use is a concern to assist in the treatment and recovery process.
