Communications Supervisor--Child Placing Agency


Position Overview:

  • Monitors CPA referrals and placements and provides coverage of placement job responsibilities when needed
  • Conducts new employee training, eReach training and other beneficial training to staff and foster families
  • Manages eReach system
  • Provides direct supervision to assigned staff individually and as a group once a month
  • Approves timesheets and expenses for staff
  • Addresses foster family issues via home visits or telephone calls as appropriate
  • Submits monthly program statistics on or before the due date
  • Works with Director and CPA Coordinators in hiring, terminating, and discipling CPA staff


  • Requires a bachelor's degree in communications or a related-field
  • At least two years of child welfare and/or family services experience is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience is required
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record 
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and fingerprinting
