Program Improvement Specialist

Essential Functions

  • Conducts staff training relevant to program improvements and quality assurance
  • Assists with improvement and maintenance of data accuracy based on subject matter expertise
  • Works with data analyst to track, review, and validate data and outcome reports
  • Coordinates quarterly file audit processes internally and with the Department of Children and Families (DCF)
  • Supports DCCCA as needed in DCF required Workgroups along with DCCCA identified Liaisons
  • Participates in evidence-based practice implementation and fidelity teams
  • Monitors evidence-based practice fidelity
  • Manages evidence-based practice outcome evaluation data collection and reporting
  • Supports the organization when critical incidents occur through chart reviews and the full cycle of risk mitigation and review
  • Reviews Fee for Service charts for clinical and compliance on a quarterly basis to maintain a high level of quality in documentation standards
  • Job may require the employee to be able to regularly drive to various DCCCA locations and other business locations throughout the day including early morning or evening hours

Education, Experience, and Licensure

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is required; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience working in evidence-based programs
  • Experience specifically in health care or child welfare preferred
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office products
  • Must possess a valid state Driver's License, in force automobile liability insurance, and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization's insurability standard as defined by DCCCA policy. Availability of reliable transportation is required for this position.
