Position Overview:
- Provides administrative support, including scheduling, travel arrangement, correspondence, and liaison activity for child welfare administration
- Coordinates child welfare communications via a variety of sources including telephone and email
- Tracks child welfare supplies and office needs
- Attends meetings and serves as recording secretary for child welfare administration
- Assists child welfare staff with the planning of foster family events and activities
- Completes specific requests for research regarding industry or other issues pertinent to child welfare Maintains strict confidentiality of highly sensitive matters
- Attends work regularly and predictably
- Performs office management duties such as answering phones, responds to routine correspondence, inventories and orders supplies
- Maintains strict confidentiality of highly sensitive matters
- Responds to requests professionally and in a timely manner
Requirements Include:
- Requires a high school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
- Requires at least two years of relevant job experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must pass pre-employment background checks, fingerprinting and drug screening
