The Behavioral Health Training and Technical Assistance (BHTTA) Program Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating activities associated with the initiative. The Manager also is responsible for the submission of all required reports to KDADS and will ensure all project deliverables and work products are completed. Directly supervises team members and performs all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DCCCA policy and applicable laws.
The CPA Specialist provides on-going support services to foster families which includes assisting with children placed within the home. Under supervision of the CPA Supervisor and while working closely with other assigned staff, CPA Specialists will provide referral services and assist with placement recommendations and/or service planning. The CPA Specialist will also assist with recruiting and training foster families while also providing support, professional guidance and crisis assistance.
Family Preservation Services (FPS) provides intensive in-home services and case management services to families who have one or more children at risk of out-of-home placement or who will be at risk of out-of-home placement at birth. The Case Manager provides for the safety, stability and well-being of children and families by delivering and coordinating culturally competent case management services that are responsive to the unique needs of the family.

DCCCA’s Therapeutic Family Foster Home Program manages family foster homes providing 24-hour care for children and youth with high acuity needs. This position provides ongoing support services to Therapeutic Foster Families which includes assisting with children in the home. Under supervision of the TFFH Supervisor and while working closely with other assigned staff, Therapeutic Family Foster Home Specialists will provide intake services and assist with placement recommendations and/or service planning. The TFFH Specialist will also assist in recruiting and training foster families while also providing emotional support, professional guidance and crisis assistance.
The Child Placing Agency Training & Licensing Specialist recruits new foster families through networking and established community contacts as well as training new foster families.
The Project Manager coordinates, develops and ensures that projects within the administrative operations are developed and coordinated across the DCCCA system. The project manager ensures that project plans are tracked and socialized to all effected parties in accordance with standard project management practices.
The Business Systems Administrator plans, leads, directs, develops, and coordinates policies and activities related to DCCCA’s business systems. The Administrator ensures legal compliance and strategic implementation of DCCCA’s information systems processes including computer, communication, data, and office systems.

The Lead Engagement Specialist will also assist with supporting long-term retention efforts of foster families and staff, as well as customer surveys and complaints. The Lead Engagement Specialist will co-facilitate a foster parent advisory group with the Lead Community Resource Specialist.

The Therapeutic Family Foster Home (TFFH) Operations Assistant II will work to support TFFH Specialists and TFFH Supervisor in daily tasks and to support the goals of the program.
The Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) will be responsible for ensuring the safety and accountability of the residents within our rehabilitation facility, while maintaining a trusting and nonjudgmental demeanor. They will run the front desk and take incoming calls, as well as oversee the residents’ daily schedule, creating a sense of structure for our clients. This includes tracking clients’ activities, meals, chores, therapy sessions, and more.
The RSS will be provided with on-the-job training to administer medication, perform intake for new residents, conduct room checks, and log necessary documentation. This individual should be able to work independently when needed and maintain professional relationships while supporting clients in the facility. Lawrence Outpatient Treatment Services offers outpatient substance abuse treatment for adolescents and adults in the Lawrence, KS, area. Treatment interventions include: individual and group counseling, assessments, family sessions, court-ordered alcohol & drug evaluations, and an eight hour Alcohol Drug Information School.
