The Family Support Worker provides for the safety, stability and well-being of children and families during
the referral period by delivering culturally competent services to children and families that are responsive to
the unique needs of the family.
The Child Placing Agency Program Supervisor assists the Child Placing Agency Program Coordinators in achieving compliance with Child Placement Agency requirements and provides support/leadership to assigned staff.
The Community Resource Specialist assists therapists, case managers and family support workers by linking families with needed community resources and services, coordinating transportation and logistics. The community resource specialist may also assist families with job searches, securing child care or respite services, and housing. This position shares coordination duties related to stakeholder feedback, advisory boards and alumni meetings, customer surveys and complaints.
Family Preservation Services (FPS) provides intensive in-home services and case management services to families who have one or more children at risk of out-of-home placement or who will be at risk of out-of-home placement at birth.
DCCCA’s Therapeutic Family Foster Home Program manages family foster homes providing 24-hour care for children and youth with high acuity needs. This position provides ongoing support services to Therapeutic Foster Families which includes assisting with children in the home. Under supervision of the TFFH Supervisor and while working closely with other assigned staff, Therapeutic Family Foster Home Specialists will provide intake services and assist with placement recommendations and/or service planning. The TFFH Specialist will also assist in recruiting and training foster families while also providing emotional support, professional guidance and crisis assistance.
