Full-Time

Position Overview:

• Identifies and follows up on potential contacts for prospective foster parents within the same day or if received after hours, on the next business day
• Assists prospective foster and adoptive families in enrolling for DT classes
• Conducts Deciding Together (DT) classes for prospective foster and adoptive families
• Assists family with obtaining fingerprints and out of state checks if needed
• Collects all required DT paperwork from prospective families
• Completes DT Leaders Summary and Recommendations 
• Provides support to prospective foster families

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in the Human Services field or related field required
• Requires at least two years' experience providing child welfare and/or family services
• Requires a detailed understanding of foster parenting
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Must pass pre-employment background and reference checks, drug screen and fingerprinting
