We Kan Drive Program Specialist

Full-Time

Position Overview:

  • Accepts intake information regarding potential referrals to We Kan Drive
  • Conducts intake meetings with interested participants, engaging case managers and others as needed
  • Coordinate transportation options as needed to ensure equal opportunity for participation
  • Assists program participants in accessing resources throughout the community to meet their needs
  • Develops and monitors individual action plans for each assigned participant to ensure desired goals are met
  • Assists with development of We Kan Drive social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Develops partnerships with insurance providers, lending institutions, mechanics, and driver's education programs
  • Inputs data and maintains databases at least once weekly or as requested
  • Participates in work groups, meetings, and events to support We Kan Drive
  • Ensures administrative support functions are completed timely and thoroughly, as assigned by program management
  • Provides We Kan Drive programming support that will include preparing information and supplies
  • Prepares correspondence, reports and other complex documents
  • Assists with technical support to the We Kan Drive program
  • Receives, stores, and distributes inventory and assembles other materials for distribution
  • Maintains inventory list and reorders as necessary

Requirements Include:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in human services field
  • Requires a minimum of one year of related experience with a not-for-profit organization
  • Requires excellent creativity, organization, communication and time management skills
  • Requires the ability to work both independently and as a member of the We Kan Drive team
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment background checks, drug screen and fingerprinting
